THE FELT CALENDER – BENEFITS

– Drying and stabilization of the still hot and wet fabric
– The calender drum is available with different diameters
(800, 1500, 2000 and 2500 mm), depending on the type
and weight of the fabric and of the speed in the line
– The calender roller is heated by steam, the temperature is
pre-selected in the recipe management system
– No elongation of the fabric during the drying process since
the fabric is enclosed between the driven calender roller and
a circulating felt belt

THE COOLING DRUM – BENEFITS

– Stabilization and conditioning of the fabric after the
calendering process
– Between one and four cooling drums are used in the exit
area depending on the size of the line
– The cooling drums are supplied with water, are normally
driven and – in case of delicate fabric – provided with a
tension measuring roller to control the fabric tension

冷却辊 – 优点
