Bending the felt belt around the guide roller stretches the
surface of the felt and increases the circumferential speed
correspondingly. This change of circumferential speed leads to
the compacting of the fabric.

Durch die Biegung des Filztuches um die Leitwalze wird die
Oberfläche des Filztuches gelängt und somit die Geschwindigkeit
entsprechend erhöht. Die Änderung der Umfangsgeschwindigkeit
führt zur Kompaktierung der Ware.
