The relaxation dryer provides for the drying, relaxing and shrinking
of knitted fabric in open-width and in tubular form. Depending
on the process, the relaxation dryer is also suited for woven fabrics.
This dryer is mainly used to finish articles made of natural fibres
such as cotton, viscose and wool but also of blends thereof or
blends with elastane, polyamide or polyester. Such fabric qualities
are mostly further processed for underwear (ribware), nightwear
(Interlock), polo shirts (Piqué), T-shirts (single jersey) or sweat
shirts (fleece or sweatware). The residual shrinkage is reduced
to a minimum and the fabric gets a very good length and width
stability and a fleecy, soft and voluminous handle.

El secador de relajación seca, relaja y encoge el tejido de punto
en forma abierta o tubular. Dependiendo del proceso, el secador
de relajación es también apropiado para tejidos planos. Con este
secador se acaban sobre todo artículos de fibras naturales como
algodón, viscosa y lana pero también mezclas de los mismos así
como mezclas con elastano, poliamida o poliéster. Tales calidades
de tejido se procesan en la mayoría de los casos en ropa interior
(tejido Rip), ropa de dormir (Interlock), camisetas Polo (Piqué),
camisetas (Single-Jersey) o sudaderas (polar o sweatware). Los va-
lores de encogimiento residual se reducen a un mínimo y el tejido
recibe una buena estabilidad de forma en sentido longitudinal y
transversal así como un tacto blando, suave y voluminoso.
