And the winner is... Dimension-Polyant!

Joachim Stemig, project manager, fire protection and energy management representative of Dimension-Polyant GmbH

The first major virtual trade show in the textile industry, the Innovate Textile & Apparel Virtual Trade Show, took place from October 15-30, 2020. For BRÜCKNER the participation as exhibitor in this virtual show was a premiere. At least this way it was possible to maintain contact to existing customers and to generate new leads. In order to make the show even more attractive for visitors, BRÜCKNER raffled off a Stand-Up-Paddle Board among all visitors to their booth - matching the established companies´ image picture - the surfer, who jumps over every wave, always motivated and dynamically.

The winner was drawn from a lottery pot by the owner and CEO Regina Brückner herself. Mr. Joachim Stemig, project manager, fire protection and energy management representative of Dimension-Polyant GmbH in Kempen is the lucky winner, who can now be happy about a new Stand-Up-Paddle Board.

The company Dimension-Polyant GmbH, founded in 1966, is the world's largest and leading manufacturer of sailcloth and laminates. These are produced exclusively in their own modern production facilities in Kempen, Germany and in Putnam, USA. Every day about 10,000 metres of high-quality cloth are finished on high-tech equipment specially developed for this purpose, including a coating line from BRÜCKNER. As the world market leader in sailcloth, Dimension-Polyant is known by many prominent sailors and due to the excellent quality their sailcloth is used on regatta courses worldwide.

Dimension-Polyant would like to make the already environmentally friendly sport of sailing even more environmentally friendly in the long term, after all, they are well aware of their responsibility towards climate and environmental protection. The cloth manufacturer has therefore set itself the goal of being completely CO2-neutral from 2021. All emissions at the Kempen site were systematically recorded as part of the DIN ISO 50001 energy management system and have already been reduced by 85% through the use of green electricity and gas. All remaining emissions will be offset in cooperation with ClimatePartner through the climate protection project "Plastic Free Oceans". The company is also working on climate-neutral products and plans to further increase the use of recycled materials.

Regina Brückner, owner and managing director of the family-run company BRÜCKNER, is pleased to hand over the profit to such an innovative customer. Even during the current COVID-19 pandemic Dimension-Polyant is flexible and provides production capacities for the manufacturing of protective clothing in the health sector, just like BRÜCKNER in its technology centre. By using these production capacities exciting new developments could already be pushed.

In this sense, Mrs. Brückner and Mr. Stemig shake hands virtually according to the current circumstances and look forward to surfing the wave of success together in the future!
